Tenuta Argentaia

The name Argentaia is a tribute to the Argentario Promontory, which the estate overlooks. Love for the land is the fulcrum around everything has evolved here for centuries and the same philosophy still applies today. Its owner,Paolo Vico, wanted the guidelines of the project to be the conservation and restoration of the historical structures and the choice to use ancient material, which is itself worked inside the fortress, respecting nature and the environment that surround.

Argentaia is a privileged estate with minimal impact on the environment. Built on the top of a hill from which it dominates the valley with an unparalleled view of the Tyrrhenian Sea, it is surrounded by eighty hectares of vineyards and olive groves.

A passionate team of renowned oenologists and expert agronomists is dedicated to the production of wine and oil. The magical atmosphere of the stone vaulted cellars offers a unique experience for exceptional wine tastings.

Great red wines are produced here such as: Orto delle Monache with 70 year old vineyards, testimony and treasure of the estate’s history and Col di Lupo which represents the wild nature of the Maremma. Then we find the White Wine Monnallegra Vermentino which expresses all the sunshine of this Tuscan land and the Rosè Le Papesse which represents the feminine soul of Argentaia with fragrant and sensual aromas.
