Vineyards cover 12 hectares at an elevation of 300 metres above sea level. They have excellent exposure, good ventilation and an ideal climate, cool in summer and dry in winter.
Libero Rillo, the owner, has inherited the passion of the hundred-year-old family tradition for the finest vines of the region: Aglianico and Falanghina.
He also produces Fiano, Greco, Sannio Piedirosso, an incredible Aglianico Rosé and a special line of both reds and Falanghina aged for 5 and even 9 years.
Today Falanghina of Fontanavecchia, thanks to a careful work in the vineyard and in the cellar that led to an unprecedented quality, has received awards worldwide.
