Amantis

Amantis was created by the passion of Bernadetta Tacconi, wife of Paolo Vagaggini, the famous winemaker who won the prestigious “WINE STAR AWARD” from the Wine Enthusiast as one of the most impressive Sangiovese experts.

The Winery is located at an altitude of 3/400 m. in Montenero d’Orcia, in southern Tuscany, facing Monte Amiata, and extends along the Orcia River, that divides Montalcino from the Morellino di Scansano territory.

It is in such a splendid setting that this vineyard has the most plants per hectar in the world(about 1 ha): 20.000 vines per hectar.

L’ “Elisir”, that is produced from this vineyard marks, with its intensity and uniqueness, the total production of the Winery. The wines produced, expressive of this territory are: Montecucco Sangiovese DOC, Montecucco Sangiovese Riserva, Birbanera (Sangiovese and Canaiolo), Iperione IGT, and the latest creation Goghi.
